Facilitating community conversations to inform workforce well-being

Collaborated on a behavioral health initiative to better understand the impact of secondary trauma on professionals working in recovery and treatment organizations. In this role, I helped design discussion guides, facilitated community conversations with groups of 20–40 participants, and analyzed the findings. The work provided valuable insights into workforce experiences and helped inform future planning and support strategies.

Assessing capacity and opportunities for improvement

Conducted a comprehensive evaluation of a public health clinic to better understand organizational capacity, patient experience, and operational workflows. The work included staff interviews, patient focus groups, workflow observations, and analysis of current processes. Findings were synthesized into a report that identified strengths, opportunities for improvement, and practical recommendations.

Building quality improvement skills through applied learning

Supported clinical transformation initiative, designed and facilitated a quality improvement training program for staff at a large, multi-site healthcare organization. Participants learned improvement tools and methodology while working on real challenges, allowing them to apply concepts directly to their day-to-day work. The program supported five improvement teams focused on addressing operational and clinical challenges, helping participants build practical skills and confidence in leading improvement efforts.

Developing data training for community health workers

Partnered with a public health organization to develop training content for a Community Health Worker certification program. The curriculum focused on helping participants understand and use data in practical ways to support their work and improve outcomes.

Using evaluation to strengthen learning and engagement

Partnered with a large academic medical center to assess the quality and effectiveness of its Project ECHO learning programs. I developed the evaluation framework, collected and analyzed program data, and shared findings with project leadership. The evaluation process provide practical insights that informed ongoing improvements to participant engagement, session design, and overall program quality.

Supporting community engagement for a renewable energy initiative

Partnered with a clean energy organization to support implementation of a grant-funded program designed to provide solar electricity credits to low-income households. The work focused community engagement strategies to ensure the initiative was accessible  to local familes while meeting grant deadlines and deliverables. Through focus groups and stakeholder discussions, I helped the organization better understand participant perspectives and identify approaches that supported successful program implementation.
